Protection and New Perspectives for a Life Free from Violence
Frauenhilfe München supports women in freeing themselves from lives shaped by violence and in building self-determined futures. Our work is grounded in the right to physical and psychological integrity and in the guiding principle: women’s rights are human rights.
We stand alongside women* who have experienced violence or are threatened by it. We believe their accounts, create safe spaces, and foster a culture of respect. Non-violent communication, mutual consideration, and the strengthening of self-determination shape our daily work.
Children who come to us with their mothers find protection, stability, and the opportunity for a childhood free from violence — in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
We value and respect every person — regardless of social background, cultural heritage, or sexual identity. Our work is intercultural in approach, low-barrier in access, and centered on the needs of those affected.
We promote individual strengths, reinforce personal resources, and create space for new perspectives.
